| Fleet Sales - Our History |
|
From personal experience buying his own new cars, our founder Mark Joscelyne had been frustrated with the slow and inefficient process of researching brands, vehicles, models, features, prices, final quotes and delivery availability from various dealerships. When Mark analysed all the time and effort (much of it wasted) that he had spent looking for the right vehicle at the best price, he decided to develop a research process and system that would enable consumers to make informed choices without pressure or stress. His goal was to collect clear unambiguous information, prepare comparisons, and simplify down to three easy steps, the process of purchasing a new motor vehicle. Also, he wanted to remove the uncertainty that he had experienced dealing with some car sales people who were keen and enthusiastic, but did not have the authority to offer any particular vehicle at the best price. This caused difficulty in calculating accurately where the best price could be found. In 2003 Mark developed the "Fleet Sales" new car buying service for customers purchasing vehicles in New South Wales. By 2005, this had become so successful that we established strategic relationships nationally, enabling fleet sales and deliveries in every Australian state and territory. Also, we upgraded our administrative system to meet growing demand from individual customers requiring a single motor vehicle, and from our corporate clients with fleet sales needs. Responding to consumer requests for "Fleet Sales" to further simplify the overall process of acquiring a single new motor vehicle or several vehicles for a fleet, we introduced a vehicle finance service at the beginning of 2006. Our ability to help customers source a consumer car loan, operating lease, hire purchase, novated lease, finance lease, or chattel mortgage, has been welcomed by people who need to compare and select the finance option that meets their personal requirements. As the business has grown, we have not forgotten our founder's original goal ... to help consumers make informed choices, swiftly and smoothly with three simple steps. That's why our commitment to the "Fleet Sales" system is as essential today as it was back in 2003.
